Our Story
Polaris began in the field. Since 2009, our founder has built and operated EarthTek Paving & Grading into one of the Bay Area's most trusted infrastructure contractors — Diamond Certified, NMSDC-certified MBE, California licensed (#995715), with more than 2,500 projects delivered for municipalities, corporate campuses, and community institutions across Silicon Valley and the Peninsula.
Polaris was founded on a quiet observation made over those seventeen years: the largest infrastructure decisions are too often made under the most time pressure, with the least independent counsel. Owners need an advisor who has actually stood in the cut, watched a base fail, and rebuilt it.
We built Polaris to be that advisor — a senior-led strategic practice that arrives early, stays through commissioning, and is measured not by deliverables filed but by assets that perform for the next forty years.

Vic Ramirez founded EarthTek Paving & Grading in 2009 and has spent the last seventeen years building it into one of the Bay Area's most trusted infrastructure contractors — serving San Jose, Silicon Valley, the Peninsula, and the East Bay across more than 2,500 projects for municipalities, corporate campuses, school districts, and community institutions.
Under his leadership, EarthTek earned Diamond Certified® recognition for independently verified customer satisfaction, NMSDC certification as a Minority Business Enterprise, and registration with the State of California as a licensed contractor (#995715) — credentials only a small fraction of California firms hold together.
He launched Polaris Infrastructure Group to bring that field-tested judgment upstream — advising owners, agencies, and developers at the strategic level, before the first shovel hits the ground.
